aeon

(1998 - present)

The initial images in this series were inspired by the proportional ideal of Renaissance beauty, where the human body represents the ideal of spirit, embodying the vastness of the cosmos within him or her. The form of the body, in all its glory, conveys strength, resilience, and unwavering self-possession. The initial impulse was to depict a massive, robust human figure full of vitality.

IN THE HEART
OF THE SUN

(2003 - 2009)

The human body continues as a central motif following the Timeless Existence series and after my one-year specialization in Indonesia, where I studied wayang traditional painting from Central Java.

(2008 - 2011)

To emphasize how human bodies fill certain voids in the realm of creation, only a few similar patterns from everyday life, like clothing tags, cupcake liners, and other small daily samples…

SWING IT RED

BEYONDERS

(2024 - present)

Just as the lilac flower implies the abundance of small worlds within a cluster, so too are the purple figures of the Beyonders numerous—they are never alone, always part of a milieu of relationships. Born of purple ink from the purple planet of mercy and wisdom, they represent spiritual and religious needs, the evolution of consciousness, an increase in knowledge, and understanding that helps break free from the magical cycle...
