The Ecstasy of Love series is a manifestation of the morphology of love and the new connections that love creates, both with the surroundings and within the self.
Hand-dyed gauze, paper, canvas, and acrylics were used to generate transitions and variations in meaning. These collage paintings aim to highlight how delicate the lives we live are and how intricately our spirits are woven together.
The paintings are small in format, as they are envisioned compositionally to be displayed side by side like a tapestry in rhythm with the space in which they are exhibited.
