Just as the lilac flower implies the abundance of small worlds within a cluster, so are the purple figures of the Beyonders numerous – they are never alone, always part of a milieu of relationships.
Born of purple ink from the purple planet of mercy and wisdom, they represent spiritual and religious needs, the evolution of consciousness, an increase in knowledge, and understanding that helps break free from the magical cycle of ‘Lila.’ They are a representation of the artist’s intuition, his divine play, and reality seen and experienced anew each time. The result of this free and spontaneous activity is a multitude of drawings on round watercolor paper, created exclusively in lilac and purple watercolor paints of various shades.
Numerous and diverse, the purple worlds of the transparent dreamers float in circular balloon forms, ready to burst and create anew. They express a lushly evolving cosmos, the divine play of the male and female polarity – the same energy of different qualities that, through union, transcends pain and joy, consciousness and intent – and they become one. Rounded. A cosmogony of consciousness blossoming and sexual union. The dance of this divine love is depicted in various dynamics of the union between the warm, energetic red and the calm, cool blue – highlighting the balance of these divine, purple relationships and the space of filled voids in the universe, inhabited by beings of royal consciousness, the transparent dreamers.
The drawing is simple, stylized, yet playful, clear, and associative. The series contains over 40 drawings of the same format.
